| On August 10, 2002, the Key City Kennel Club teamed up with Pet Expo to promote the sport of agility. Exciting for handlers, dogs, and spectators alike, agility demonstrates quickness and control as dogs maneuver their way through various obstacles. KCKC members ran their dogs through a typical agility course of jumps, weaves, tunnels, and more. The event also gave spectators a chance to try out some simple agility equipment with their own dogs. In addition, a Canine Good Citizen test was available to interested dog owners. Spectators received bags of dog goodies from Pet Expo and some of their distributors, and Mankato's "Country Station," 103.9 FM, provided live spot broadcasts throughout the morning. KCKC proved that agility is the ultimate game for dogs! |
