Membership to the Key City Kennel Club is open to all persons who are in good standing with the American Kennel Club and who subscribe to the purposes of this club.

 

THE PROCESS

The first thing to do is come to an event or meeting. We meet the third Tuesday of each month.  The location is usually the Benco Building but watch the website for announcements as the location does change from time to time.

Once you get to know us and we get to know you, the next step is to fill out an application.  Applications are available at club meetings, and at the training center.  Your application must be signed by two members who agree to sponsor you.  These can be members you have meet at an event or meeting.  It could also be a breeder member that you received your dog from.

Now that your application is complete you can mail it together with payment for the current year's dues to the KCKC Secretary or bring it to the next club meeting.

Once we have your application it is read at the first meeting of the club following receipt.  At the next meeting, the application is entered for the second reading. The application is then voted on by secret written ballot.  With Affirmative votes of three-fourths of the membership present and voting at the meeting you become a member.
